In 2018 Sonaki undertook submission for a Clinical trial of one of our Vitamin shower heads for the purpose of evaluating any change in the five following parameters namely Skin moisturisation, Skin Sebum (Oily secretion), Dead Skin cells and a Skin Pore assessment and a Skin Gloss assessment(1). This was also followed by a survey of test subjects.
The trial was conducted by Korea Testing and Research - Healthcare Research Institute. Number of subjects 22 ( Females aged 20 -59 yo).
The following are the direct findings of the trial including graphs produced as aid to visual understanding of the results.
1) All of the test subjects who participated in this study were 22 females with an average age of 42.1. All subjects were not observed to have any notable skin abnormality or symptoms and/or history of disease or medication that might have affected the test.
2) The result of measurement skin moisturization, the value was significantly increased at 1 week and 2 weeks compared to before use (P <0.05).
3) The result of measurement skin sebum, the value was significantly decreased 1 week and 2 weeks compared to before use (P <0.05).
4) The result of measurement dead skin cells, the value was significantly decreased at 2 weeks compared to before use (P <0.05).
5) The result of measurement skin pore, the value was significantly decreased at 1 week and 2 weeks compared to before use (P <0.05).
6) The result of measurement skin gloss, the value was significantly increased at 1 week and 2 weeks compared to before use (P <0.05).
7) Questionnaire survey by test subjects : The result of survey showed that skin conditions was improved after using the test substance in all areas of the questionnaire.
8) Abnormal reaction assessment by dermatologist : Any skin abnormal reactions by test substance were not observed in all subjects. Also, all subjects were not retired during test period.
